175 days to Christmas!
Isaacson Tractor Equipment was a division of Isaacson Iron Works until 1950, when it was sold off to Pullman-Standard Car Company.
Isaacson was the first manufacturer of hydraulic implements for heavy equipment. They manufactured after market products for Cat and held exclusive implement contracts for International Harvester. They are most famous for their hydraulic blades for the International TD series.
Brass Anvil With Isaacson Iron Works Logo
This image is of a brass anvil with the Isaacson Iron Works logo. It is four inches long; one and three-eighths inches tall and one and three-eighths inches wide. A few of these have sold on eBay®. A while back I purchased one and am looking for another.
Isaacson Iron Works had a forging operation during World War II. In 1963, they sold the forge operation to Earle M. Jorgensen. It is very likely Isaacson manufactured these small brass anvils themselves. These brass anvils were a promotional item.
